Welcome to my website

This is a showcase of the fused glass jewelery I create in my home studio. I use several layers of glass and fire them in a glass kiln to temperatures of up to 800ºC. The whole process takes many hours to complete and some pieces are fired several times to make them just right. No two pieces are alike. They are all one-of-a-kind!.

Definition of Dichroic Glass
Dichroic glass stems from the fusion of the Greek word di-chroos, which means two (di) and colour (chroos) and refers to the capability of some crystals to show two different colours when you look at them from different angles. Put another way, if you hold up a piece of dichroic glass, you will see one color being reflected back at you while another color is passing through. You would also see two different colours if you look at the same glass from different angles.

I hope you like them.
